I teach adults just starting out with Spanish, whether you've never studied it or took a class years ago and never got comfortable speaking. My lessons give you a clear plan, real accountability, and the space to work through whatever's tripping you up, until it finally clicks.
Hi, I’m Miriam
"La Bella Lengua" means "the beautiful language."
And that's the idea my lessons are built around. I hold a teaching credential along with a B.A. and Master's in Psychology, but what led me here wasn't a credential, it was a love for the Spanish language itself, and wanting to share this beautiful language with people ready to learn.
I work with adults specifically because so many of you have been wanting to speak the Spanish language for years, but just haven't had the plan or the person to keep you accountable to it. My job is simple: to give you the tools to actually start speaking Spanish!
Foundations First, Conversation Follows
My lessons have structure. Every session has a clear plan so you're building grammar and vocabulary foundations, and not just picking up random phrases. Think of it like learning music: the theory might not feel exciting at first, but it's exactly what lets you improvise and have fun later.
The same is true here, the structure is what makes the joy of actually speaking and understanding Spanish possible.And along the way, you’ll also listen to new music, watch videos, and learn about culture, because there is so much fun to be had while learning Spanish!
