Spanish for Beginners: A Structured Start, One-on-One
This is a clear, step-by-step path through beginner Spanish: ten one-on-one sessions built on a proven lesson sequence, with someone right there to slow down, explain, and keep you moving whenever something doesn't click.
60-minute lessons • 1 : 1 live on Zoom • Adults, true beginners • Weekly for 10 weeks
Why Apps and Group Classes Only Get You So Far
A group class moves at everyone else's pace, so you either wait or fall behind. An app gives you a lesson to complete, but no one to actually ask when a rule doesn't make sense, and no one at all to speak Spanish with. Between the two, you've picked up scraps of vocabulary, but not the kind of foundation that lets you build a sentence with confidence, let alone hold a conversation.
That gap is exactly what one-on-one lessons close. You'll move through the same foundation-building lesson plan every beginner student works through, but with the pacing adjusted to you.
Because I've taught Spanish long enough to know this: learning Spanish is too hard, but you need a plan of action, consistency, and a teacher to guide you through tougher concepts. That's what one-on-one time gives you that an app can't.
What Changes By the End of 10 Weeks
• You have a solid grip on the core beginner verb tenses and grammar so you can start building sentences.
• You've built a real foundation of vocabulary and grammar, the kind you can actually build on later instead of starting over.
• You've built a small, sustainable practice habit, about 15 minutes a day, instead of another streak you let lapse.
• You feel steadier speaking up, even knowing you'll still make mistakes, because you understand the basics well enough to try.
